Announcing: Midge’s Make-Along(s)

What They Are, How They Work, and Why You’ll Want In

What Are Midge’s Make-Along(s)?

Midge’s Make-Along(s) are cheerful little pop-up crochet events where we all work on the same Sweet Lilliput pattern together over a cozy weekend-ish stretch of time.

Think of it like:

  • a crochet party
  • a mini event
  • a chance to make adorable things with friends
  • and an excuse for me to aggressively cheer everyone on from the sidelines

Each Make Along features:

  • A featured Sweet Lilliput pattern
  • Exclusive participant discount
  • Bonus freebies/accessories/goodies
  • A private group chat for sharing progress, chatting, and general silliness
  • A chance to have your finished make featured on Midge’s Fridge™

In other words?

Maximum crochet. Maximum fun. Moderate-to-severe Midge.

How Do Midge’s Make-Along(s) Work?

Excellent question. You seem very smart.

Here’s how the process works:

Step 1: Sign-Ups Open

About 1–2 weeks before the event, sign-ups open for the next Make-Along.

You’ll be able to join through the official Make-Along page here:

Yes.
I insisted on the discount.
I believe in spoiling my people.

Step 3: Make-Along Weekend Begins!

Once the event begins, you’ll have Two full weekends + the week in between
to complete your project at your own pace.

No stressful deadlines.
No falling behind.
No weird guilt if life gets busy.

These are designed to be:

  • quick
  • fun
  • flexible
  • and easy to fit into real life

You crochet when you can.
We cheer each other on the whole time.

Step 4: Share Your Progress with the Group

During the Make-Along, participants can:

  • Show off yarn choices
  • Ask questions
  • Share progress photos
  • Celebrate finished objects
  • Witness my excellent commentary in real time (You’re welcome in advance.)

Why Join a Midge’s Make-Along?

Because crocheting with friends is better than crocheting alone in your blanket cave.

But also:
