Hi, I’m Erin!
I’m the designer behind Sweet Lilliput and the creator of Pully Plushies. With over 30 years of crochet experience, a background in art, and a bit of teaching along the way, I bring both creativity and thoughtful design into every pattern.
What started as a creative outlet during a season of wanting something more—more calm, more joy, more connection—slowly grew into something I never could have imagined.
Sweet Lilliput was built on a simple idea:
Crochet can be comforting, playful, and a little bit magical.
As a neurodivergent family, we’ve always been drawn to things that are tactile, soothing, and interactive—which is exactly what led to the creation of Pully Plushies.
These designs are made to be:
- engaging
- fidget-friendly
- quick to make
- and full of personality
Because sometimes you don’t just want to make something cute…
You want something you can squish, stretch, and play with.
What Are Pully Plushies?
Pully Plushies—interactive, no-sew (or low-sew) amigurumi designs created to be just as fun to play with as they are to make.
Pully Plushies are a unique style of crochet plush designed with adjustable, movable limbs—created using a special construction that keeps everything secure without the need for sewing.
They’re:
- no-sew or low-sew
- interactive and fidget-friendly
- full of options for making it your own
Each pattern is thoughtfully created to be both fun to crochet and fun to hold—because the experience doesn’t end when you finish the last stitch.
Meet Midge
Every good studio needs a little chaos… and a lot of encouragement.
Midge here.
I’m that little voice that shows up while you’re crocheting—the one that says:
“Hey… that looks really good.”
“Keep going, you’ve got this.”
“Wait—pause. Admire that stitch for a second.”
Because we can all use a bit more encouragement, celebration, and affirmation while we create.
I’m here to:
- encourage you
- celebrate your progress (yes, even that one row)
- help guide you through tricky moments
- and occasionally cause a small amount of harmless chaos
I also host Midge’s Make-Alongs—cozy little pop-up crochet events where we stitch together, share our progress, and celebrate every finished plush.
And yes, I curate Midge’s Fridge—a prestigious gallery of exceptional plushies.
